Zirconium Oxides

This page is under construction

There are many different zirconium oxides, but they may be placed into three general groups.

Monoclinic Oxides
These are oxides to which no other materials have been deliberately added.

Doped Oxides
These are oxides have had small amounts of materials added to stabilise the crystal strcture in either the tetragonal or cubic phase . Calcium, Magnesium and Yttrium are commonly used to do this.

Mixed Oxides
These are oxides to which larger amounts of other materials are added, sometimes several different materials. Such combinations have a wide variety of catalytic applications.

Applications and other information will be listed shortly

Links to suppliers and supplier data sheets will be added later for easy comparison
